The Know-How Network is an assembly of contacts from business, academics, and government sector. These contacts can help you avoid many of the pitfalls other start-ups encounter and can help you build a stronger base of operations. Information regarding the Know-How Network is contained on BIC’s intranet. The information are broken into three segments: the first segment is consists of business and technical advisors who provide advisory and consulting services; the second segment is focused on the provision of business services such as legal, accounting, tax, advertising etc; and the third segment consists of various local businesses who are supporting BIC by providing discounted goods and services to our clients.

As an aggregator of small business enterprises, BIC has obtained discounted prices from various businesses for goods and services essential to growing companies. Lists of these discounts are contained on BIC’s intranet.

BIC Advisors have a broad spectrum of expertise and experience ranging from start-ups to large corporations; from product development to marketing and finance. A profile of each Advisor can be found on BIC’s intranet, including a short bio, contact information, and client references. Some of these are professionals with whom we have personally worked and to whom we feel comfortable referring BIC companies, while others we may or may not be intimately familiar with. Appointments can be made by contacting an Advisor directly or you can ask the BIC management for a suggestion.
