Business Innovation Centre in Kragujevac officially presented the youngest tenant, ACDBS company from Kragujevac, and the newly registered company "Lotrič Laboratory of Meteorology doo Kragujevac", which is conceived as a result of cooperation between Slovenian company "Laboratorij za meroslovje Lotrič" and Kragujevac company "ACDBS".
Entrepreneurial firm "ACDBS" from Kragujevac, operates less then a year and deals with the systems of measurement, testing, data collection and processing, automatic control and software development for various applications.
"Laboratorij za meroslovje Lotrič" from Slovenia is in business since 1991 in the field of metrology. This is a family business which now has 35 employees, with annual sales in 2010 of 2 millions € . In addition to standard operations such is calibration, inspection, testing and verification standards, the company is engaged in education in the field of metrology, offers various software solutions, services and maintains the equipment and at the same time represents numerous manufactures of quality standards in almost all areas (sliding gauges, micrometers, scales, weights, volume, temperature, moisture, hardness, and flow rate, etc.).
Newly registered company "Lotrič Laboratory of Metrology Ltd Kragujevac", will deal with calibration, inspection, testing, verification and sales of standards (in the following areas: length, angle, mass, volume, force, pressure, temperature, hardness, humidity, acoustics and vibration), and has the capacity and intent to the end of 2012 to become the leader in the field of calibration and verification standards in the Central and Southern Serbia, and that in the next 5 years, take precedence in the whole Republic of Serbia.
Cooperation between Slovenian company "Laboratrij za meroslovje Lotrič" Kragujevac and entrepreneurial firm "ACDBS" supported the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and Slovenian Business Club in Belgrade. In their discourse, Deputy Ambassador of Slovenia Mr. Milan Predan and the President of Slovenian Business Club in Serbia Vladimir Kravčuka noted a favorable trend of cooperation between Slovenian and Serbian businesses, particularly through the establishment of the opening of representative offices of Slovenian companies in Serbia. Entrepreneurial company "ACDBS" is one of the positive examples, which are expected to be a true representative of such cooperation.
