

On 30.01.2012. in the Business Innovation Centre students on bachelor academic studies on industrial engineering and one-year master studies of University of Kragujevac (Law, Economics and the Faculty of Engineering ) presented their business plans of virtual enterprises. These virtual enterprises are composed of one student from each faculty and thus simulate the working environment as in "real" companies.
Teams of students were in the previous period of the project'' Virtual incubator for the development of SMEs'', funded by the EU within the RSEDP2 program, and attended lectures on entrepreneurship and worked with assigned faculty mentors and BIC management to actualize their business plans. Besides, they were given opportunity to use additional consulting services of the BIC tenants as representatives of the business sector.The aim of the business plan writing was that the small teams of students present their business ideas, as well as implementation and sustainability of ideas. The total number of students who took part in the competition was the 48 and they presented 16 business plans.Presented business plans portrayed ideas of manufacturing and service industries (production of peanut butter, macrobiotic restaurant, production and sale of fruits and herbs, production of frozen food, sheep and chicken farms, etc..).BIC Commission for admission of tenants, comprised of representatives of project partners and consultants in the field of economy and entrepreneurship, based on predefined criteria, assessed business plans and the best five business plans. Best virtual enterprises have been awarded with free use of virtual offices for a period of one year.
